Sépaq - Loto-Québec Falls Illumination
Starting at nightfall, the illumination of the inlet at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency will light up the spectacular 83-metre-high waterfall, the surrounding cliffs and Manoir Montmorency. No matter what the season, this magical natural decor will enchant visitors, who will have a totally unique sensorial and visual experience.
This panoramic tableau is a light event appropriate to the beauty of this spot and the strategic importance of this entranceway to the Capital. The concept sheds new light on the cliff's schists and the igneous rock face behind the falls. Among other things, it contributes to bringing out the striking contrast between the cliff's slope and the dynamism of the falls and its spray.
Wishing to leave a legacy to the Québec City area for its 400th anniversary, with this project, Loto-Québec, contributes to raising the profile and consolidating the notoriety of Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. Sépaq has collaborated on the realization of this project along with Commission de la capitale nationale, designer of this ambitious display of lights.
